The Barratt Room, is a first floor room that can
accommodate up to 100 guests (70 seated or 100 mixed occupancy). The illuminated roof timbers,
ash flooring and natural finish,
red brick walls of the Barratt Room provide
a charming atmosphere for you and your guests. You may create
your own unique atmosphere by decorating to enhance your celebration. You are free to choose your own florists, caterers, musicians, and so on
but, if
required, we can recommend local traders that are familiar with our facilities.
The River Stour Trust holds a premises licence for the Granary and in accordance
with the Licensing Act 2003, all beers, wines, spirits, ciders and soft drinks
dispensed there must be supplied by or through the River Stour Trust.
Hourly hire option:
Half-day, full day and regular user rates are available. The
hire charge is inclusive of tables and chairs (set up and
cleared away by our caretaker), use of our kitchen facilities
and access to The Granary during the specified hire period.
Drinks and glass hire can be arranged although the bar is not
available for hourly rate bookings.
Hire with the bar
option: The hire charge is inclusive of our fully licensed
and staffed bar for 4 hours (usually 7pm-11pm), tables and
chairs (set up and cleared away by our caretaker), use of our
kitchen facilities and access to The Granary during the day of
the booking until 12.30am (Monday-Friday), Midnight (Saturday)
or 11pm (Sunday).
