1&1 is proud to be the first large web host who relies solely on renewable energy. At 1&1 we believe in a sustainable society for all and that every business has a role in this responsibility.

Since its formation, the Trust has undertaken many restoration projects including the current restoration of Stratford St Mary Lock. We organise regular river based activities. The Trust has its headquarters at the Granary in Sudbury and runs a Visitor and Education Centre in Gt Cornard. It also owns two electric powered launches which give public trips. Trusty II is based at Flatford and Rosette is based at Sudbury, together with a disabled access pontoon boat Francis J also based at Sudbury.

This event is now being planned and we are looking for helpers, volunteers, boat crews, stall holders and so on to help make this event even more of a success than last year. It will be a 2 day event with public boat trips available from the VEC on the Saturday with events running from the Granary and car park on the Sunday. Owners of electric or steam boats are invited to attend and enjoy cruising the 3 miles of navigable River Stour between Ballingdon Bridge and Henny. The organiser of this years event is Jeff Burroughs who can be contacted on 07973 220455 or email jeff@electromobile.co.uk
